I’ve been intrigued with the art and culture from my native India and have a passion for handmade. I’ve found that the art, culture, traditions and techniques that I found in the villages reflect the “old world” classic traditions and designs that have been handed down from generation to generation.
I wanted to bring this art—these classic designs to today’s market, both in women’s fashion and in decorative home accessories. And, I wanted to offer enough design choice where women can create their own personal design statement through layering of clothing, accessories, jewelry and decorative home.
I see the art of layering as a major style trend—a design statement that is here to stay.
I want haath to be known as the place where women can come to purchase unique handcrafted items that reflect their personality—and that these purchases become special keepsakes.
